Join Our Team as a Senior Bartender

We are currently seeking a talented Mixologist to join our Bartending department in the role of Senior Bartender. This is a full-time position with a requirement of 3-5 years of experience in the field.

Job Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Provide excellent and personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.

Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests related to the bar department.

Uphold a friendly and professional demeanor to create a positive atmosphere.

Bartending:

Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and hotel guidelines.

Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the proper storage of glassware, utensils, and ingredients.

Product Knowledge:

Stay informed about the hotel's beverage offerings, including specials, promotions, and featured items.

Provide detailed information about the different types of beverages available, including their ingredients and preparation methods.

Team Leadership:

Supervise, train, and mentor a team of bar staff, ensuring they adhere to established service standards.

Create and maintain a positive and cohesive team environment.

Work collaboratively with other members of the bar and hotel staff to provide excellent overall service.

Bar Operations:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments for restocking.

Create a robust system to keep a check on stock, spoilage, beer flat, contamination check, etc.

Quality Control:

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the bar area.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the bar setup, presentation, and service meet or exceed guest expectations.

Menu Management:

Collaborate with the culinary team to design and update the bar menu.

Train staff on menu items, ingredients, and presentation.

Gather guest feedback on menu items and relay information to the relevant departments for improvement.

Revenue Generation:

Monitor sales and revenue targets, implementing strategies to enhance profitability.

Work closely with the sales and marketing team to promote the bar department to external guests and events.

Event Coordination:

Coordinate and manage bar-related events and functions, collaborating with other departments as needed.

Ensure smooth execution of events, including staffing, setup, and customer satisfaction.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local alcohol regulations and health codes.

Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and best practices.

Upselling:

Promote special promotions, and events, and upsell premium beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.

Identify opportunities to recommend additional food and beverage items to guests.
