We're Hiring: Banquet Associate

We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Banquet Associate in the F&B Service department. If you have 1-2 years of experience in the field and possess skills in customer service, attention to detail, communication, teamwork, setups and Breakdowns, time management, and food safety, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

 

Event Coordination:

Collaborate with the Banquet Manager to understand event requirements and specifications.

Coordinate with clients, event planners, and internal departments to ensure all details are accurately communicated and executed.

Set-Up and Breakdown:

Supervise and participate in the setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, ensuring compliance with event requirements and hotel standards.

Verify that all equipment, furniture, and decorations are properly arranged and in excellent condition.

Service Quality:

Monitor and ensure high-quality service throughout events, addressing any issues promptly.

Oversee food and beverage service to ensure it aligns with established standards of presentation and customer service.

Timely replenishment of the menu.

Customer Relations:

Act as a point of contact for clients and guests during events, addressing any concerns or special requests.

Proactively interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Logistics and Operations:

Manage event timelines and logistics, ensuring that events run smoothly and on schedule.

Coordinate with other departments, such as catering, kitchen, and audio-visual, to ensure seamless collaboration.

Inventory Control:

Oversee the inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and restocking as needed.

Maintain a ledger (Stock Book) of the same. 

Collaborate with the store's department and maintain a record of stock orders and reorder levels for a seamless transition and never run out of inventory.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events.

Upselling:

Practice upselling daily.

Implement strategies to increase revenue through upselling.
